Dolores Andreacola (O'Brien)
Dolores Andreacola (nee O’Brien), 92, passed away on November
11, 2023. She was born on August 25, 1931, in Camden, NJ to John and Helen (nee
Sullivan) O’Brien.
Dolores was a graduate of Camden Catholic High School in 1949 in Camden, NJ. In
her career she worked for Radio Condenser Corp. in Camden. She also served as an
operator for Bell Telephone in Collingswood, NJ. She married Angelo Andreacola
in 1953 and, after they had children, she dedicated herself to raising her
family. They lived in Washington DC during the time Angelo was serving in the
U.S. Navy. They built their first house together in Pennsauken, NJ and lived
there for 34 years before moving to Mt. Laurel, NJ in 1992 and later to
Moorestown, NJ.
She was a beloved wife of 70 years, and devoted mother to Phyllis, Chris (Sandra
Chuck), Janet, and Lynn (Tom Trasser). She was also an extremely proud
grandmother to Thomas Trasser III and Olivia Trasser. She is preceded in death
by her siblings John O’Brien, Helen (Leonard Van Dalen), Mary Jane (George
Hansen), and Edward.
She and her husband enjoyed traveling to Florida in the winters and for many
years spent much time on the Chesapeake Bay enjoying their sailboat.
Dolores will always be remembered as a sweet, kind soul to everyone that she
met.
