Marks Eulogy

Angelo said “Rose was an observer”.
Mark said “To say mom was understated is an understatement.”
Jamie said “mom was a very private person.”
When Joe thought his mom was old at the age of 82 he asked Rose “does it bother you getting old?” Rose answered “I have a lot to be thankful for”.
While randomly discussing religion, Rose volunteered to Joe “I believe”
At Joe’s 60th birthday dinner with Mark and Jamie, Linda Wray said “Rose, you have these amazing children. How did you do it. What is your secret?” To which Rose replied, “I let them be who they are”.

Joyce read the following at Rose’s burial.

Do not stand at my grave a weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glint in the snow.
I am the sunlight on the ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn’s rain.
When you awaken in the morning hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry:
I am not there,
I did not die.
